How To See Through Someone Without X-Ray Vision

Here's a test for a possible phony

change your life

then give your testimony 

you'll see who claps

or who talks behind your back

and whispers under their breath

instead of wishing you success 

they're waiting for your death 

but after they finish confessing

you'll learn a lesson in the end

not every friend's a friend

so they won't give you their blessing

the hate is too real 

you think they really care how you feel

when really they're like why lie now

they realize there's no reason to try now

for they've been exposed indeed

but supposedly that was their intention

not to mention deceiving you 

into believing you could trust them 

and nobody else just them 

that's how they planted their seed

but you dug it up before it could even grow

and some of them still don't even know
