who believes that Life isn't fair
and you know they're absolutely right
so does that mean they're refusing to fight
or will they keep on fighting
because if so I'll keep on writing
hopefully they'll figure out why they're here
and what it is about Life they most fear
because there's always a reason to smile
even if they haven't done it in a while
but I know they don't think too much of me
wondering how inspiring others touches me
I remember one who laughed at my expense
they've been paying for that mistake ever since
but I still love them through it all
because I knew pride came before the fall
and I also knew that I couldn't be beat
as long as I got back on my feet
which is why there's always a reason to smile
even if it hasn't been done in a while
I just want them to remember how it felt
how it made their heart melt
I know they want that feeling back again
so maybe I can help motivate them until then
