I've heard them all before
but they don't sound the same
maybe it's the anxiety
because love sounds like hate
the truth is dead
and I can barely breathe
where has the help gone?
I want to run away
but there's nowhere to go
no escape from these words
or the anxiety
that has to be the difference
it's the anxiety
words never hurt like this
I've never hurt like this
but I'm still alive
as for those words
I can change their meanings
because they mean something to me
the truth doesn't have to hurt
and hate can turn into love
then maybe I can breathe easier
after knowing what it all means
