If you choose to endure
you better make sure
that you can handle the pressure
I'm not trying to give a lecture
but there's a few things you have to know
a few of your old ways have to go
there's too many people living without a purpose
wanting something for nothing like they deserve it
but who am I to say otherwise
I'm just another guy with his eyes on a prize
trying to help others succeed 
with my hand out for those in need

I never claimed to have been through it all
but I know how much it hurts when you fall
getting up isn't the easiest
some of you don't even know what easy is

sure you know that it's time to get tough
when times get rough
but you've been giving into your worst fears
and what's worse is you've been doing it for years
so if you choose to endure

you better make sure
that you can handle who you see
as you become who you were destined to be
