Maybe one day
you always say that to me
but when you say that to me
I believe you
because I'm a believer too
so yes
maybe one day
we can get to know each other
and learn from one another
I like what I see already
but I won't move unless you're ready
maybe one day
you'll see my heart
and even after knowing my past
we can build something that will last
but not so fast
maybe one day

but God willing
we can see it through
because I'm a believer too
so yes
maybe one day
because it's one day worth hoping for
