Different Than Most

I've been told I'm on a level different than most

and when I come around 

people swear they've seen a ghost

but I'm like a host

just trying to keep away from these parasites

by living life everyday like it's paradise

but even without a pair of dice

life's still a gamble 

and although I've never been a quarterback

I've still had to scramble

people think that life's a scandal 

and none of this is really real 

so they're having conversations with the Devil 

playing Let's Make A Deal 

well it's that's how they feel

I guess there's no seed to sow

because what's the point in sowing a seed

if they don't think it can grow

blinded by their desires to possess things 

but refuse to take possession of their blessings

I remember being right there with them 

all too willing to live that nightmare with them

but I was scared away from becoming a ghost

so I'm thankful I'm on a level different than most
