Good morning cruel world 
look what you've done to us
you've made us cold
ashamed of our imperfections
content with hiding in the shadows
afraid of own light 
but in spite of all you've done
we're still here
there's a part of us that's cold
but there's a part of us that's perfect
and although we find comfort in the shadows
we're not afraid any longer
because we are Light
we are Love 
we are Life 
and we are Energy 
even when you use people against us
we overcome the odds
and rise like steam rising from the wounds 
the wounds you've inflicted upon us
but in spite of all you've done
we're still here
so good morning cruel world
the universe says hello
