L.O.V.E. Notes: See For Yourself

I shouldn't let negative energy enter me
not just because it messes with me mentally 
but because it's just not meant for me
I know that I deserve better 
so when Life seems as ugly as a Christmas sweater
I proudly wear it 
because I know that my life has merit
and I'm strong enough to bare it
even though it barely seems that way
rarely does negativity have it's way
so it won't today
at least not if I can help it
because nothing's worse than feeling helpless
other than being helpless
and seeing that feeling of helplessness in yourself
