Explore Me

Why would you ignore me
when you could explore me
there's so much I could reveal 
but I'm sure it would all seem surreal
even in my mind 
you'll be amazed at what you find 
treasures unlike any you've ever seen
at least from another human being
my desire
my dreams of building an empire
my soul
and a love that's even out of my control
if this is true
what happened to the few who came close
they became ghosts
I'm sad to say
that I scared them away
not intentionally 
but essentially 
that's what came to be
maybe that's why you ignore me
so I'm asking you to explore me
just don't set me free
I'll do that myself
