you is because it always

Tunnel Vision

There you stand 

motionless 

possibly in disbelief 

what is it that you're looking at

the light at the end of the tunnel

it truly does exist 

yet there you stand

motionless

comfortable in darkness

after all this time

the truth has been revealed  

it wasn't the dark that scared you

rather it was the light

so there you stand 

motionless

afraid to step out into the open

but there's nothing to fear

there's light inside you

are you afraid of that too

maybe you are 

so break the cycle 

because there you stand 

motionless

with light all around you

Un Salto De Fe

Al final del día
nos arrepentimos de las posibilidades que no tomamos
así que no me importa lo que es justo o no
si el riesgo es grande
la recompensa es más grande
pero es diferente contigo
no se trata sólo del riesgo 
se trata de un salto de fe
y me estás diciendo que no salte
pero te acuerdas de lo que era como saltar
la ansiedad que te sentías en el principio
también saltaste sin alas
pero se llama un salto de fe por una razón
y mis razones son más grandes que tú
son más grandes que yo
porque mi propósito es más grande que nosotros
al final del día 
no quiero arrepentirme nada
siempre y cuando miro antes de salto
todo estará bien
pero aun si cerré mis ojos 
yo saltaría todavía
porque mi fe no teme ningún riesgo

Decisions Decisions

So many want to drink from the fountain of youth
but if they knew it was spiked with the truth
would they still drink it 
if they knew it was just a thought
would they still think it 
pretend you know what I'm saying
and you use your hands for more than just praying
not to say you shouldn't have faith
just know where your faith lies
and stop putting your faith in lies 
why do you want to believe everything you've been told
by those whose souls have already been sold 
that doesn't make any sense
and since pledging your loyalty 
you've forgotten the fact that you're royalty
and not some mindless drone
who allows others to put them down
or wear their crown
and sit on their throne
but that doesn't sound like you at all 
so would you drink from the foundation of youth
if you knew it was spiked with the truth
you would be less thirsty than you were before
but the truth would make you thirsty for more
